Little charred, but Iโ€™d still eat it!

I forgot to cook it slow. It was crispy like I intended and almost no burnt taste. I will cook more proper next time ๐Ÿ˜Š

Crispy…but I do like em this way. Good job ๐Ÿ‘

That’s usually what the second one i make looks like if I make multiple.

Char is just the start to character. It adds flavor!

I love me some burnt food and i am not being facetious

I like a little more butter, the bread looks drier than I think is ideal, but thatโ€™s a matter of personal preference.

  8. 0theHumanity

Its 10% darker than I make but I wouldn’t even butterknife scrape it off like my burnt ones. 15 more seconds id start scratching lol

Itโ€™s a little overdone for my taste but good first try anyway! ๐Ÿ™‚

You should no longer call that white bread lol

A little too much char, still’d eat it tho

  12. That is what I would call well done but not in a good way.

    Iโ€™d still smash it.

You burnt that. I dont like them that way, but some do. Youll get better the more you make them. Good for a first try!

The bread is a bit burnt but tbh that’s good because I like burned toast ๐Ÿ˜‹ My kind of grilled cheese

Lower the heat and add a lid to your pan.

  16. Fishtails

Edible. But pan was too hot.

    Slow and low my bro.

My dad is the master of low and slow. His Maillard reaction on any dish is top notch.

Butโ€” he drinks. And is getting older.

This looks like him forgetting for an extra 10 minsโ€ฆ

Still yummy but pushing on burnt. No one is complaining but heโ€™s pissed at himself

    WOULD!!

The first one is to test the heat. The second is always better. Keep working on it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Use a Slower Lower Heat approach, your mouth will thank you ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿฅช

A little too far gone on the outside, but the inside looks perfectly melted!
